Students in Mr. Day's Class brought emotions to life with a fun activity inspired by The Color Monster by Anna Llenas! 🎨👹
After learning about recognizing and understanding different emotions, students created their very own Monster Water Squishies. They chose colors, added decorations, and designed unique monsters to represent feelings in a creative, hands-on way.
A little reading, a little social-emotional learning, and a whole lot of creativity! 💙💚💛❤️

Each month, classes get together for our Final Friday Readers! Students in 5th grade read with their buddy class in 2nd grade, 4th grade reads with their 1st grade buddy class and 3rd grade reads with their Kindergarten buddy class on the last Friday of the month. We had the BEST time on our first Final Friday Readers Day of the year!!

Last Friday, Ms. Norton's class had so much fun buddy reading with a 5th grade class for Final Friday Readers! The students loved spending time with their older buddies, sharing books with each other, and listening to each other read! We can't wait for the next one! 📚💙🐾 #ThePark
